CAMERA OPERATOR

We are looking for seasoned, experienced applicants that are adept at shooting in the high intensity, adrenaline-pumping, run-and-gun ‘Cinéma-vérité’ style that has sustained and anchored the series throughout the past two decades. Cinéma-vérité literally translated means ‘cinema of truth’ and that’s just what we’re after – applicants must not only possess technical knowledge and experience of the latest High Definition technology that has kept Langley Productions firmly planted on the leading edge of the broadcasting industry, but applicants must also have the acumen to tell a powerful and compelling story with your camera and demonstrate leadership abilities in the field. No rookies need apply.
Applicants are encouraged to submit a reel containing examples of how you shoot in unscripted, high-pressure ‘COPS-like’ situations. Raw footage of your work is requested but not required.
You must have at least 3 years experience with one or all of the following:
Breaking News Events
Nationally Broadcast Unscripted/Documentary Series

- Experience on unscripted/documentary series working directly with Law Enforcement a plus.
- Experience on unscripted/documentary series working in high intensity environments a plus.
- A willingness to travel for extended periods of time is a necessity.
- You must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

This is an ongoing search for qualified applicants; interviews will be conducted in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. You must be able to drive or fly to interview locations on your own.
